Alytes Equipment

Someone once told me, sailing sports was like taking a cold shower in full garment while tearing up at least one 100€ bill per minute. As we are planning to take the bare foot route, I would only partially agree: the shower will be luke warm.

Some of the bills go into equipment. Here is what we will take along to make the trip safe and comfortable:

    hi Fritze,
Read you started and doing fine.
Did a test with a parasailor on my own boat.
Was surprised about the great possibilities!
No plans for sailing in winter yet.
Did sail Lady Ann from Mallorca to NL last summer.
    Is for sale now.
Success and a lot of fun!!!

      Dear Ronald,
actually it was a customer of mine who crossed the Atlantic with his Open 60 racer and seven VERY ambitious crew members. He ended as the eightth in the ranking at his time and was very disappointed after I told him that we beat him with Lady Ann by about twelve hours ;-).

OK, they didn’t start the engines.

Hope you are well and sail a bit this winter?
      Cheers,
      Fritze
